Two reasons for posting this wedding today: it’s a gorgeous sunny day and Katherine and Craig had a wonderfully sunny wedding in May, so it kind of fits. Also, wedding photographer Lisa Dawn gets married today — so in her honour, I wanted to post another of her dreamy, charming Dorset weddings.
I love all the extra little touches at this wedding: it has such character and a sense of fun. Katherine and Craig arranged for a vintage red London bus to drive guests to the ceremony, a great photo chart with the bride and groom as children, and an ice sculpture dispensing vodka shots (with the help of the best man)!
Katherine wore a beautiful strapless white wedding gown with ruched detailing and a lace up back, and her bridal jewellery was delicate and pretty in silver, with a gorgeous white and silver sparkly headband with beads and crystals. The bridesmaids wore hot pink, and Craig wore a matching ascot tie and pink gerbera in his buttonhole.

The bride and groom as children… awww! This is a fantastic idea, especially if you can include pictures of your friends and family as you grew up.
