The beautiful bride
I’m struggling for words to describe Alex & Jess’s wedding, which was sent to me by favourite wedding photographer Lisa Dawn. Why? Well, every time I scan through the pictures all I can see is how beautiful Jess is.
Talk about an English rose: Jess could be the heroine from any English period drama, with her hair beautifully curled and pinned, exquisite make up and her beautiful classic wedding dress with just enough diamond sparkle to take your breath away.

This has to be my favourite of all the photos Lisa Dawn submitted with this wedding. Jess looks beautiful and a tiny bit vulnerable — but thoughtful and in every way the perfect bride.

We’ll whizz past this one with a simple note: yes, it’s raining. It’s always raining for English weddings. (Great wedding car though — and a pretty country church: St. James in Holt, Wimborne.)

Alex and Jess chose Canford School for their wedding venue. It’s a fantastic building, beautiful surroundings and ideal for wedding photography.
